This was my first participation in the Hackathon, a Hack20 with the Flutter community. We were a group of 2 developers and 1 designer, Jordi Sabat, Marco Silva and me creating an app called Border Rulz.
We chose the theme Saving the planet | Eco / What we’ve learned during the pandemic. Our idea was to help people get information about how to travel during the pandemic and share the latest information of the restrictions of each country worldwide to be best prepared for travelling and challenges along the way. The community can give their input, so we’ll know with more certainty what is the real situation in every place/ border / country.
In total there were 2665 attendees, 650 teams and 266 projects submitted. We got selected to the second round among 100 amazing projects and got the final 60th position.
