Barbara Pintar
Academic Sculptor & Graphic Designer
Barbara Pintar has a degree in Fine Arts (Sculpture) from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and has a master’s degree in Communication Design for Tourism and Culture, University of Algarve.
During her studies, she created her own project, the Followbirds – a digital platform for bird-watching tourism in Portugal where she was responsible for designing a mobile application, UX / UI design, production of marketing content, and social networks. The project received several national awards for entrepreneurship.
As a Communication Designer in the Communication Department of CCMAR, she was assisting in the development of brand strategy and creative design concepts for the Center. She was responsible for designing the brand’s graphic materials (print and web) for the scientific community, promotional material for various national and international events. Creating logos, print materials and other media support for new CCMAR science projects.
Barbara is certified in Adobe InDesign – Editorial design obtained from the course at ETIC_Algarve school (2020) and Social media & marketing training series for Research Infrastructures Communicators by Clear Europe (2021).
During her academic path, she collaborated with many artistic and design projects, exhibitions and book illustrations.
